Fort Utah


This recreation of Fort Utah sits in Fort Utah Park in southestwest Provo. Fort Utah was the first major (white) settlement in what would become Provo. It was built in 1849 and housed some 130 settlers in 1850-1851.

Can you go up in the fort? There's a fort like this in North Eastern SD that I've been in. Nice to see they maintained it. Are you new to the daily photo blog life? How do you like it?
